A girl in a deserted house during the night: She follows the shine of a magic light that leads her to a mystic excellent fabric.
The cloth awakes to life and elopes the girl into a fairy-tale world of dreams!

Idea and dancer: Julie Boehm

In 2014 my idea „Camouflage“ won the JAB Challenge at the Filmacademy: Production of a new commercial for JAB Anstoetz fabrics.
So here is it, enjoy watching the story of the girl Mia in an old house at night,  discovering a magic fabric getting alive….

The original story included much more camouflage paintings – game of hide and seek between the little girl and the dancing fairy. At the end Mia catching the fairy and falling down on a huge bed, the fairy transforming into a fabric foldering.

The dancing part was also very challenging, as it was already november when we shot this film in the lost place of an old hotel in Freudenstadt (Black Forest, Germany).

Until the day of the shooting I painted for two weeks the filmcrew as a scary ancestral gallery. Unfortunately only two paintings (customer Anstoetz as Napoleon / Felix the producer) made it into the film as the time of shooting was too short.
