The sweet scent of a dangerous nightmare
A mysterious mistress enters an old, smoky tangobar. She spatters herself with a crystalline flask of perfume. The man sitting at the bar is fascinated and follows her infatuating scent to the dancing floor. They rapidly are getting closer to each other ….
She is a dangerous mistress, who takes advantage of the hazardous weapons she has at her disposal: the enticing transformation into a “Black Widow”, a jeopardizing spider!
The original story included much more camouflage paintings – game of hide and seek between the little girl and the dancing fairy. At the end Mia catching the fairy and falling down on a huge bed, the fairy transforming into a fabric foldering.
The dancing part was also very challenging, as it was already november when we shot
this film in the lost place of an old hotel in Freudenstadt (Black Forest, Germany).
Until the day of the shooting I painted for two weeks the filmcrew as a scary ancestral gallery. Unfortunately only two paintings (customer Anstoetz as Napoleon / Felix the producer) made it into the film as the time of shooting was too short.
